BEIJING – China warned the Philippines on Saturday to cease “infringement” round a disputed reef within the South China Sea, after the Philippines mentioned considered one of its planes was harassed by the Chinese language air power.
“We sternly warn the Philippines to right away cease its infringement, provocation, distortion and hype,” the Southern Theater Command of the Folks’s Liberation Military mentioned in an announcement.
It added that “China has indeniable sovereignty over Huangyan Island (Scarborough Shoal) and adjoining waters.”
