In a video shared on Instagram, his 42-year-old spouse mentioned, “We’re so proud to see this emblem symbolize the Los Angeles Video games. I do know Kobe could be so proud to host the Video games on this nice metropolis.”
Kobe, who earned two gold medals with Group USA basketball—alongside LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, and others—was immensely proud to symbolize his nation. Vanessa mirrored, “He thought of his two gold medals amongst his proudest skilled accomplishments… As a spectator, he particularly cherished supporting fellow athletes and witnessing the competitors on the world’s highest stage.”
Now that the ‘Metropolis of Angels’ is ready to host the world’s best athletes, Vanessa is aware of Kobe would have been greater than proud. She added, “And, after all, our household loves Los Angeles. So, when Kobe was approached to assist the hassle to carry the Video games to L.A., he responded with a direct, ‘Sure.’”
